Now on Display: LGBTQ+ History at Williams

Progress pride flag with the words "LGBTQ+ History Month"October is LGBTQ+ History month, and the Libraries are highlighting the queer history of Williams. On display in Lippman Atrium are artifacts documenting the history of queer people and events on campus, paired with books and zines on queer history from our collections.

We want the Williams community to be part of this display:

  • The doors to the cases are open!  Feel free to remove and checkout any of the books and zines that are on display.
  • We’re collecting your queer Williams histories.  Take a card, record your story, and add it to our display.

We’re also celebrating National Coming Out Day 2024, with books about coming out, links to student resources, and pinback buttons.  Take a button to celebrate your queer identity!

LGBTQ+ History at Williams will be on display through the end of October, 2024.
